Delivery and Payment Methods

During the checkout process you will be asked which delivery method you prefer, so you can choose Shipment of products or Collection at our shop in Marina di Carrara (MS). In the latter case you can pay in advance or when you pick up the goods in the shop:

1)Payment in advance: you can place the order, pay in advance by Bank Transfer or Paypal and in the notes indicate the pick-up at the shop, obviously the system will not charge the shipping costs;

2)Payment upon collection of thegoods in our shop: you can also pay for the goods when you pick them up in the shop, in this case you must choose "Pay upon collection of the goods in the shop" as the payment method. Please indicate an estimated date when you intend to collect the goods.

We use the courier company GLS for shipping the goods.

If the goods are available, the average delivery time to the carrier is 3-4 working days from the order. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will not be delivered to the carrier before 4 p.m. the following Tuesday. Once the carrier takes charge of the shipment, it delivers within the next 48 hours.

The cost of shipping varies according to the weight of the goods shipped, and the place of destination. It starts from a minimum of €8.54 VAT included for the entire national territory, excluding the Minor Islands and inconvenient areas. If payment is cash on delivery, i.e. payment to the courier, a surcharge of € 6.30 VAT included will be added to the normal shipping cost, which may increase as the amount to be paid increases.

On the shopping cart page you can choose the shipping method and immediately calculate the cost, even without being registered.

All products will be shipped to the agreed delivery address, please provide a correct address including house number, telephone number. Please remember that the courier does not leave the goods unattended, so it is advisable to indicate a delivery address where someone is available to collect the parcel. The delivery dates indicated in the Order, in the Order Confirmation, in any other communication from us (whether oral or written) or on the Website, are estimates of delivery times, any failure to deliver on a specific date shall not give rise to any liability on our part to you.

Shipment warranties

All our products travel adequately packaged. We recommend that you always check the number and the good condition of the packages, otherwise the claim must be made immediately to the courier by promptly reporting the incident. Please note that the replacement costs will be borne by the customer while those of redelivery will be entirely at our charge. We remind you that Sailor s.r.l. is the only responsible for the shipment until the delivery to the courier. First of all, it is necessary to specify that the courier's role is to collect the ordered package and make sure that it is delivered in the exact same condition in which the package was at the time of collection.

ALWAYS CHECK THE ADDRESS FOR DELIVERY Our couriers deliver during normal working hours, it is not possible to establish a time in advance for delivery; for this reason we advise you to choose an address where someone can collect your parcel in case you are absent. We also advise you to provide us with a telephone number when ordering in order to facilitate our work.

Force majeure

In any case of force majeure, or unforeseeable circumstances, we shall not be liable for delay or non-delivery, we shall be entitled to terminate the contract in whole or in part, suspend or postpone its performance.

Dispute Resolution

For the non-judicial settlement of disputes relating to and/or arising from contracts for the sale of goods and services concluded on the network,

The Court of Massa-Carrara shall have jurisdiction over all legal disputes.

Order processing and shipment of goods

The customer service of Sailor s.r.l. is notified of the receipt of orders by e-mail in real time. Orders are therefore processed in ... almost real time. Most items are shipped the next day or, in any case, within three to four working days after the order is placed. Inside the package you will find the invoice or receipt issued by Sailor srl.
We can ship the goods to your home address or to another destination, if indicated by you in the order form ("Delivery Destination").
Our shipments are made exclusively by courier (GLS).

The delivery terms shall be purely indicative and any delays in the delivery of the products shall not imply any liability or compensation for damages for Sailor s.r.l.

If the packaging is intact, any defects or faults in the products must be reported in writing to Sailor s.r.l. within 8 days of delivery, under penalty of forfeiture. Upon receipt of the order, if the goods or boxes appear damaged, opened or without their packaging, you must

a. accept the shipment with reservation, specifying the exact reason for the reservation on the delivery note when signing. We recommend that you do this whenever you suspect that the packaging is damaged in any way.

b. immediately send a written communication both to Sailor s.r.l. and to the forwarding agent, notifying them of the damage found and enclosing a copy of the delivery note a detailed list of the contents of the package that is missing or damaged if we see that the package delivered is not well packed or if we notice that it is too delicate. Sailor s.r.l. shall not be liable for any damage suffered during transport if the above is not scrupulously observed.

If the shipment is not handled by Sailor s.r.l., but by the Buyer, the goods travel at the Buyer's risk.

For particularly heavy and/or bulky shipments, the cost of transport will be calculated on a case-by-case basis and communicated by telephone or email.

Liability

Sailor s.r.l. shall not be liable for any damage or loss, direct and/or indirect, deriving from the sale of goods and services offered in the catalogue published on the website www.sailornautica.it, even for delayed and/or non-delivery of the product, nor for the correspondence of the goods to the specifications published on the website, nor for any other event not directly attributable to Sailor s.r.l.

Product characteristics and descriptive-illustrative documents

The technical information included on the website www.sailornautica.it is taken from the information published by the manufacturers of the goods included in our catalogue. Sailor s.r.l., therefore, reserves the right to modify or adapt the technical and dimensional information of the products in the catalogue, according to what will be communicated by the manufacturers, even without any prior notice.

The characteristics and/or technical specifications of the products shown on any support, including the sailornautica.it website, shall be purely indicative and shall not be binding for Sailor s.r.l.

Payment

The purchase process is simple; we place one or more products in the shopping cart and decide to proceed to payment. We have 6 distinct steps in which the indispensable data for the transaction will be requested. With regard to the processing of personal data, please consult the Privacy Policy section.

Step 1 'Purchasing Options': You can choose to purchase freely as a guest or create an account on our site. This last option gives you the possibility to manage your orders and have an archive of all transactions made in our shop, manage your returns or subscribe to the newsletter service to receive information about commercial offers on products.

Step 2 "Account & billing information": some personal data will be collected, such as the tax code and VAT number, in case the customer is a company, which are required to receive the regular invoice, but also data concerning the billing address.

Step 3 "Shipping Information": you may enter a different address than the billing address, in case the two coincide you do not have to write anything.

Step 4 "Delivery Method": you will be asked which delivery method you prefer, so you can choose to have the products shipped or to pick them up at our shop in Marina di Carrara (MS). In the latter case, you can place your order and decide whether to pay in advance by Bank Transfer or Paypal or to pay when you pick up the goods in our shop by choosing "Pay when you pick up the goods in the shop" as the payment method and in the notes indicating the pick up in the shop; obviously the system will not charge the shipping costs. Please indicate an estimated date on which you intend to collect the goods.

Step 5 "Payment Method": you will have to select a payment method from the 4 possible: Paypal, Bank Transfer, Cash on Delivery or Pay on Pickup in the shop; the system also gives you the possibility to write a comment about the order you are about to confirm; e.g. the comment may be about the product or confirmation of pickup at our premises.

Step 6 "Order Confirmation". In this final step, you will be able to view a summary of the goods purchased with prices, VAT, any additional services and shipping costs. You will also see the bank details to which the bank transfer should be made if you have chosen this payment method. At this point you only need to confirm the order and wait a few seconds for the transaction to be completed. You will immediately receive an email with all the details of your order.

Bank transfer

If you choose bank transfer, payment must be made by bank transfer to our bank account at the following bank details:

The BIC or SWIFT is only required for transfers from foreign accounts.

The goods will only be shipped after verification of payment. The crediting time of the transfer does not depend on us but on your bank, it can take 2 to 4 days from the date you made the transfer.

Paypal

Now it is possible to pay for an item with your credit or prepaid card even without having a PayPal account. So it is not mandatory to open a PayPal account to use this service, simply choose the 'continue' button on the PayPal page without logging into an account and fill in the required fields, including your credit or prepaid card number.

When you pay with PayPal, your bank account and credit or prepaid card numbers are never disclosed to the seller or merchant. Your financial information remains protected.

Product Availability and Prices

All prices include VAT but do not include delivery costs, which are always charged to the Customer and are invoiced at the end of the order as a supplement to the selected products. In case of errors generated by the computer system regarding the order, Sailor S.r.l. reserves the right not to process the order. Orders are fulfilled within the limits of available quantities; in the event that one or more products are not available, Sailor S.r.l. undertakes to contact customers by e-mail to inform them of the time required for delivery of the products ordered.

Orders

Orders are accepted only and exclusively via the Internet site (online). The customer who sends the order via the Internet will receive, at the end of the procedure, a communication confirming that the order has been placed by electronic mail (E-mail), with an indication of the relevant order number; in the event that, after the order has been sent, the order number does not appear (after a few minutes), the proposal shall be deemed not to have been accepted, for all legal purposes.

The customer is obliged to check when placing the order, the measurements, colour, size and quantity of the articles he/she intends to purchase. Sailornautica does not assume any responsibility for errors made during the order process, therefore any costs for the return and shipping of the goods shall be borne by the customer.

Minimum Order

There is no minimum order.

Warranty

Products purchased through Sailor s.r.l., unless otherwise specified, have a warranty period of 12 months for sales to companies, and 24 months for private individuals
For repairs under warranty you can contact the normal technical assistance network for the products, according to the documentation enclosed with the goods.
In the case of products without a service network, you can contact us directly, according to the following procedure:
- Request by e-mail at ordini@sailornautica.it the return number specifying: model, article (serial number if applicable), invoice number and date (essential), description of the defect.
Wait for the return number to be assigned by Sailor s.r.l., which will be communicated to you again by e-mail.
- Send the product to be repaired to Sailor s.r.l. - Via Bassagrande, no. 62 54033 Marina di Carrara (MS) carriage paid, specifying the return number on the transport document. (ATTENTION: we will not collect packages that have arrived without a return number and/or carriage forward)
- If the product falls under the terms of the warranty, we will repair it and ship it carriage paid, only if the goods are accompanied by a receipt or invoice.
For out-of-warranty repairs and any other technical problems, please contact us, preferably by e-mail.

Note: The technical and aesthetic characteristics of the articles are indicative. The company is not liable for typographical errors, variations in characteristics and prices introduced by the manufacturers or damage caused by improper use of the products. For any controversy the only competent court is that of Massa-Carrara.

Withdrawal

Pursuant to the EU directives (2011/83/EC) which came into force on 14 June 2014 on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase via the Internet within 14 working days of receipt of the goods, and you are responsible for the shipping costs for returning the purchased goods to us. The procedure for exercising the right of withdrawal is as follows:

1) send, within the above-mentioned terms, a registered letter with advice of delivery to SAILOR srl Via Bassagrande, 62 54033 Marina di Carrara (MS) ITALY explicitly stating your intention to withdraw from the purchase, specifying: name and surname, bank details, order number and invoice date. It is not necessary to indicate the reason.

2) send back to us, carriage paid ( at your charge ), the goods already received, in substantial integrity.
3) the sum paid, including shipping costs incurred during the purchase, will be returned to you as soon as possible and in any case within 14 days from the date of receipt of the registered letter or the goods.

Upon receipt of your request we will give you instructions on how to proceed.

The right of withdrawal lapses completely if the returned product is not intact, i.e. in case of:

Lack of the original packaging;

Even partial use of the goods;

The absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, cables, manuals, parts, ...);

Damage to the product due to causes other than transport;
