Self-tapping screws differ from other types of screws because they do not require drilling and tapping in their application and screwing. They are ideal for plastics, laminates and generally not too hard materials. The dimensions of the screws are in mm where the Ø symbol indicates the diameter, so a screw Ø 3.9 x 13 mm means it has a diameter of 3.9 mm and is 13 mm long.
